What We Do
The Brave Heart Foundation supports small programs and non-profits changing the lives of children and families in underserved populations. We celebrate a variety of organizations and missions that primarily support children and families in the state of Indiana. We primarily fund projects in three key areas:
Education
Organizations directly focused on education initiatives or special projects supporting educational opportunities.
Grassroots Community Development
Supporting changemakers and big picture thinkers doing good.
Health & Wellness
Organizations & projects making a direct impact on the health of our neighbors and overall community.
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Happy Hollow Children's Camp
$5,000 Grant | Programming
The Happy Hollow Children’s Camp provides a summer camp experience to children from underserved communities. In 2019 they provided five weeks of camp for economically disadvantaged kids, including one week specifically for children with asthma and one week for hearing impaired children. The $5,000 grant from The Brave Heart Foundation supported sending 8 children to camp.
